• Payment details. Bank, ACH, or other payout information needed to send you funds. Sensitive payment credentials are handled by our payment processors; SlabBid does not store full card numbers.
• Account & login data. Username, hashed password, authentication tokens, and account preferences.
• Device & usage data. IP address, browser type, device identifiers, referring URLs, pages viewed, and timestamps. Collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.
• Communications. Messages, emails, and chat content exchanged with our team, including support tickets and dispute records.

• From you. When you request an offer, create an account, ship a card, or contact support.
• Automatically. Through cookies, pixels, log files, and similar tools as you browse the site or use the seller portal.
• From third parties. From PSA's verification services, our shipping and payment partners, fraud-prevention providers, and analytics vendors.

We use personal information to:

• Verify cards, generate offers, process payments, and ship and receive packages.
• Operate, maintain, and improve the SlabBid platform, including tracking submissions and sending status updates.
• Respond to questions, provide customer support, and resolve disputes.
• Send transactional messages (offer notifications, shipping updates, payment confirmations) and, where permitted, marketing emails you can unsubscribe from at any time.
• Detect and prevent fraud, authenticate users, enforce our Terms, and protect SlabBid, our customers, and the public.
• Comply with applicable laws, tax reporting requirements, court orders, and regulatory obligations.
• Carry out a corporate transaction, such as a financing, merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with parties that help us run SlabBid or where the law requires:

• Service providers. Hosting and infrastructure, payment processors, shipping carriers, identity-verification and fraud-detection vendors, customer-support and email tools, and analytics providers — each engaged under contracts that limit their use of your data to the services they provide to us.
• Authentication partners. PSA and similar grading authorities, to confirm cert numbers and card details.
• Legal & safety. Law enforcement, regulators, and other parties when we believe disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the integrity of the platform.
• Corporate transactions. Prospective or actual buyers, investors, advisors, or successors in connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, or asset sale.
• With your direction. Anyone you ask us to share information with, or for purposes that were obvious at the time you provided the information.

We use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure traffic, and understand how the site is used. Some of these are strictly necessary for SlabBid to function; others power analytics and performance monitoring through providers such as Google Analytics and our hosting platform.

No internet service can guarantee perfect security, and you share information through the site at your own risk. If we discover a breach that affects your information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, complete transactions, comply with our legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods depend on the type of data, the nature of our relationship with you, and applicable legal requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
